Hi, got stung to go to India for three months for work next month. Any advice, have a fair idea as to what to bring, heading to start my vacinations later today, so thats covered. The region is Uttar Pradesh. expect to be in a fairly isolated village/town.

    Any tips?

Maybe you should change the thread title to attract people who know about Iran?

Depends on where you are going in Iran next month. If you are staying in Tehran then it could be chilly some nights. You can go skiing in the mountains just a few miles outa town at this time of year.

If you're going further south to Esfahan, Yazd or Shiraz then it will be slightly warmer but can get cold at night.

If you're going to Kish Island down the bottom it should be warm year round, though the scuba diving isn't as good now as it is in the summer.

Heading for work, so won't be doing much in the way of sight seeing. As far as I know will be in the Bushehr region, guessing I'll be there for 9+ months. What I'm looking for is what I need to bring with me, what I shouldn't? Any other advice on living there?
