okay not sure if this is right place for this so Mods feel free to move....

I've moved to a new office and while its bigger than previous one (and cheaper :D) the acoustics are strange ther's 4 of us and even though it is c.100ft x 20ft when even 2 people at opposite ends of room are on phone its a nightmare.

Any ideas on how to "dampen" sound - I kow can buy room dividers etc but a9) are they any good for this and b) they're quite expensive...

    any advice greatly appreciated

    FH

    Dividers should be fine.

I don't know where you're based but there is a warehouse in Inchicore that sells used office furniture and I have picked up plenty of bargains from them when I used to work nearby.

I think they have a warehouse on the northside as well.

Edit: I just found their link (below) and looks like the Inchicore warehouse is no more.
