I'm thinking of buying a new neck for an old squier strat i have knocking around, anyone have any ideas about where i could get one? (esp. online!) Also I guess i should get some new pickups as well so if anyone has any suggestions that would be much appreciated.

ebay.com is always a start, but dont spend much, you could get a new squire for very little money.

If you want to get a very good neck exactly as you want it, www.warmoth.com - they are expensive though. I built a strat with one a couple of years ago, quartersawn maple, ebony fretboard, 6150 frets, reverse 50's headstock, really nice player. It cost around €250 or so all in, though I did the finishing work (fret level and dress, etc) myself. If you want cheap then Mighty Mite necks are ok, though their ability to get the width of the heel right varies from neck to neck, you may find youself doing some routing with them. Ebay is where you'll find lots of them, you should be able to get one for €100

    Always with the pics :)

I've bought from them before, good quality. :)

They're in the UK aswell, so shipping is cheap. Takes about a week to get here by regular mail.
