Ok im buying a car for the first time, so i've gone around to a few local dealers and checked out carzone and a few other sites.

Seen a nice Ford Focus 5 door NT 1.6 LX 2006, 79,500km on the clock! And was qouted a price of €8500, thought this was a very good price hopefully might get him down to the 8000 mark!

    So to my question(s)

Do you think this is a good price?
And what is the procedure you go through in actually buying a car, re getting insurance, tax, payment, service gaurantee etc

    Any help in much appreciated

eh I just bought a 2007 Ford Focus with Alloy wheels, Zetec version with Climate pack 14,800 miles, on the Road Taxed and VRT included for €10,200.
There are bargains out there, just not so much in Ireland, If you can get yourself to England/NI there are unreal deals especially with the low sterling.

If you get a car less than 3 years old the warranty on it covers you really well too, so it gives you peace of mind.
