Couuple of days on my own somewhere in Europe

Hi I'm a single guy who has a bit of free time at the moment. (see economics forum) Has anyone any suggestions on a European city where I could go for a couple of days on my own and on a budget. I'm happy to go for a long walk, have a beer or two and read a book to fill my day. It's just to get a change of scenery however…

I'm a single guy who has a bit of free time at the moment. (see economics forum)
Has anyone any suggestions on a European city where I could go for a couple of days on my own and on a budget.
I'm happy to go for a long walk, have a beer or two and read a book to fill my day. It's just to get a change of scenery however I fancy somewhere that isn't -10'c at present.
I'm sitting here in front of Ryanair/Aerlingus.com and I'm not sure.

Any suggestions are appreciated.
