    anybody know where to download ebooks and how to put them onto the ds, do i need extra software?

    A good site for ebooks and out of copyright old films and cartoons is the Moon Books Project, the site is under reconstruction but you can still download some of their archive. Its definately worth waiting for it to come back to its full glory.

    You need a flash card, if you google putting ebooks on DS it gives you loads of good forum links.

    Or you could get the 100 Classic Book Collection from Nintendo.
