I need to have a cracked (beyond repair) bridge removed and new bridge/saddle reglued ..guitar is fender acoustic/electric. Any recommendations for Dublin area that won't cost a fortune? Thanks.

I'd recommend Derrick Nelson, but it will cost a fortune. I can't see a bridge replacement for an acoustic costing less than several hundred euros no matter where you go.

    I'd say get yourself onto

    http://www.stewmac.com/

they sell the parts and also set up guides and DVD's for exactly what your trying to do,study it and then do it yourself because honestly it will cost you 250+ here to pay someone!

Many thanks to you both for such a speedy reply..tvery helpful. This is new territory for me. If cost is too much I'll seriously consider the DIY advice. Will do some more homework and let you know where I end up.
