    Hi,

Couldn't find anything here, so apologies if it has been covered.

I needed dental treatment abroad (pain!!) and got a dentist in France to sort it. I paid him €129. I have a medical card and a European whatever you call it health card. In France you pay and get reimbursed, so how do I go about getting reimbursed here??

    Thanks, Barry

I needed emergency medical treatment in France last year, luckily I had my European health card with me so I wasn't charged - and the bill came to nearly E8,000!!!

I think you would have needed to show the dentist your European Health card before commencing work so he would not have charged you..
