Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

Gerkros going/gone out of business

    Does anyone know the story with Gerkros? I heard they laid off a good few people before christmas, but i've since heard that they've gone out of business?

    Anyone out there know the real story?

    Article in Business Post before Christmas suggested that they were in Liquidation. Apparently large deficit to boot.

    Just googled it, went into voluntary Liquidation on 10th November 2008

    Terrible shame...I installed a few pellet boilers over their years and I thought they were fantastic....trouble is I think they were ahead of their time.....

    I did the training course down there and their knowledge of the pellet heating business really impressed me...I hope some of the guys working their pick up the pieces.... word on the street is that some of them are!!
