Former Ireland and Lions' coach Eddie O'Sullivan takes charge of a squad from several nations when the Barbarians play the Scarlets on 31 January.

The celebration game marks the official opening of the Parc y Scarlets stadium in Llanelli and the Barbarians are assembling a talented squad to do justice to the occasion.

O'Sullivan, who replaces Kingsley Jones because the Sale Sharks' coach was unavailable after a rearrangement of fixtures in the Guinness Premiership, said, “I thoroughly enjoyed my experience with the Barbarians when we beat the Springboks last season and to be invited back again is a real honour.”

Among a host of overseas test players in the Barbarians' squad are New Zealand's Anton Oliver and Ben Blair and Wallaby World Cup representative Dan Vickerman.

Barbarian committeeman Mike Burton said, “As well as honouring several new Barbarians, we will also include players who have served us well in the past.”

Squad is on the wikipedia page.

Looks a weak team, but its always going to look weak compared to the ba-baas who played the wallabies and also cant expect much to go and play the scarlets.
