The Celtic ross is a great place to have a wedding ,did a few there and was impressed by the management and staff.

I attended a friends' wedding in Dunmore House in December 2007 just before Christmas. It was a really nice reception with good food and atmosphere.

I second Dunmore Really really Looking like where we're having our reception... Other than that there's Fernhill in Clonakility, The Quality in Clonakility, The Parkway hotel in Dunmanway, The Munster Arms in Bandon...... That's all I can think of offhand

Well we are getting married in West Cork also and had a look around at the usual suspects in terms of reception location.

We went for Dunmore lovely place add to that the staff (Ann Marie is really nice) and quality of food we’re very happy. I don’t want to put a damper on your hopes just a word of warning but depending on when you are thinking of you might be a bit late..... example they were booked solid for fri/sat in July 2010 a few weeks ago. They are also closed until March as of last Friday.

The Inchydoney hotel might be worth a look, pricey but a lovely spot. You actually look down on it from across the water from Dunmore.
A bit further over would be the Rectory in Glandore not a hotel but a lovely setting. You can get accommodation just down the road in the Marine hotel.
I think there was decent wedding hotel in/around Inishshannon? It was years a go when I was there (I mean the guts of 20years) but it might still be open.
Surely there would be some where around Kinsale?
