Hot Grease stain on UGGS

    Argh...

Folks today I dropped the grill with hot grease in it on my Uggs. Last time I make a deluxe toasted sambo...

I now have huge oil/grease spills on the Uggs and I tried baby powder to soak up the grease and the black marks are still there.

I then tried an eraser and it helped with the small splatters, but not the major big ones.

I also tried after letting the baby powder take, a toothbrush and some fairy washing up liquid.

I really need help. Ive looked at all the yahoo answers and they all seem to be american products.

Is there anything else I can do? Any suede cleaner in tescos I can get??

My mam bought me them for christmas, I am at my wits end because they were such an expensive gift,

Thank you so much in advance to whoever answers......

First may i say that you have my sincerest sympathy- I feel your pain.

I am not 100% sure what products to buy- when i was in the States I purchased UGG shampoo- this may be one of the american products you were referring to but you should be able to get it in a store in ireland that sells UGG- Brown Thomas maybe. Other than that I would say just tackle a small part of the stain at a time and it may come out over 2-3 days.

Sorry I cannot be of anymore help!

Kurt geiger have an UGG licence and you can buy the UGG cleaning kit at the link above. With the euro being not too bad against the pound then you might try it!

Washing up liquid. Try it somewhere inconspicuous to be safe. Considering it's made to break down grease it may do the job.

Chances are whatever you use, you'll need to invest in a suede brush.

Seriously before you do anything else, get a brown paper bag, put it on the biggest stains and iron over it with a warm iron. This will soak up the worst of the oil itself, and then you can get to work on the remaining stains with a shampoo.

I tried washing up liquid earlier diluted with a mouthful of water and used a toothbrush to rub the stains out, but when it dried it left a big fairy liquid oily ring....

I am going to do this next.

I went to Tescos and got the suede cleaner. rock and brushes, still cleaning, no coming out.

I have been so careful, I mean, how careful do you have to be in a pair of shoes? No matter what I do, even if I scuff them I panic...

I have no advice but I just want to sympathise with you on your boots. I just bought a new pair and I would cry if this happened.
