If you don't have a finished design for a tattoo do you take the ideas you have and book a separate session with the artist first of all or just book one session to do the artwork and the tattoo?

usually chat with the artist before booking anything, all depends on the studio tbh. some do free hand, others work off stencils, all depends. usually the artist looks after the design

    Thanks

I don't want to be doing too many trips from Galway to Waterford, but what ever it takes!

if you have already been to the artist for a previous piece pick the phone and ring and maybe email if you are travelling that far for session work

if you are only gettin 1st tatto call in and dicuss with the artist in person so that they and you have a good chat and a vision for the tattoo
