    Hi,

Am planning on upgrading to an 08 car this month or next - I will be trading in an 05 1.6 Comfortline golf (25K miles, 17inch alloys, mint condition)

been looking at an 08 1.9TDi Passat sportsline

Anyone have any good advice for this motor or can you suggest something else

    Budget is 24k - 25k

    Any help appreciated ;)

    +1 on the Octavia

Op, just out of curiousity, what value do you have in mind for your Golf?

11k would be about right IMO...

+1 for the Octavia. Cracking car.

Seems very reasonble trade in value for it.

If you are spending up on that money, i'd advise you have a look at a new Skoda Superb. Plenty of car for the money.
