should we lower our standards if there are no pretty people

i have a friend that has really high standards and he won't go near a girl if she is not attractive. most of the time he goes out he drinks a lot and brings home girls that he would never go for. last week i was out with him and he did not have one drink and still brought home a girl he would not normally go for.. now will everyone please critisise him i know he was just sick of not getting any so he lowered his standards!

Galway had a drought of hot fellas.(To the point where we referred to one guy as "the" hot guy, due to the lack of others).So I mantained my high standards and had a dry spell. Managed to snare one a while ago. Although things have picked up, I've seen more about lately, either that or I've been in a couple too long and things are looking grenner on the other side!!:rolleyes:
