Laptop was working fine before and then I opened it and this error came up. system32\DRIVERS\pci.system is missing or corrupted. I can not boot to the OS which is XP Pro. The original os was xp home, it was upgraded to xp pro. I have the original cd for xp home but do not have one for xp pro. What do I do next, ?

you need the xp pro disk and go into the recovery console.
