Watching episodes before everyone else

Just wanted to get peoples opinion on this. I am rather impatient in most things and I have been downloading episodes of all my fav tv programmes for the last couple of years the morning after they have been aired in the US. The way I view it is that if its there for me to watch then why should I wait sometimes a couple of weeks or sometimes just a day to when I can do it now. The problem is that when discussing shows on occasions with friends I end up talking about stuff which they have not seen yet obviously with the tv in Ireland being behind the US broadcast. Now I dont mean to do it but sometimes it slips out and understandably annoys others on occasions. I have watched all four episodes of 24 season 7 so far and plan on downloading episode 5 tonight/tomorrow morning. I dont know what episode they are on in Ireland as I dont bother as I have already watched it. Just wanted to get peoples thoughts on this and does anyone else do it ?

Yeah used to be an issue for me too. I just thought my friends how to download episodes. End of problem.

Just have to be careful when chatting with you friends about the show, wait until they mention something they just saw in the "latest" episode but you saw months ago, and then just smirk at them for being so stupid with the theory they just came up with about what is going on.

Saying anything to them though may result in pain.
