    does any one know much about ce shemes?im thinking of doin one? do u know how long u have to be out of work? is there any web site about it? can anyone help?

    Sorry to be a smart arse but I googled ce scheme and top of the list was http://www.citizensinformation.ie/categories/employment/unemployment-and-redundancy/employment-support-schemes/community_employment_scheme think that tells you most of what you'll need to know.

    generally you have to be in receipt of a social welfare payment for 18 months before you can qualify for CE scheme and they can last from 1-7 years depending on your age under 35 qualifys you to 1 year only aged 35-55 you can quality for 3 year scheme and over 55-65 you can get 7 years but you will be retired at 65 or 66 not 100% sure which. They are a great way of trainin and brushing up on your skils while earning a few quid at the same time
