    Define "scene".

Would you include the Choice Music Award nominated Messiah J and the Expert?

Or the winners from a few years back Super Extra Bonus Party?

I think a few IHH artists are managing to get mainstream exposure in some regard recently. There's no real live audience for exclusively hip hop gigs in this country. You've got to try and tap into a mainstream gig going audience somehow.

Messiah J and The Expert, and The Infomatics are approaching from a more electronic angle. Both albums got pretty good reviews.

    The Rubberbandits are doing comedy.

Super Extra Bonus Party and Lineage and using foreign language MCs.
