Is anyone heading up to the hills to see if they can get a bit of practice in?

Some parts of the country seem to have a great covering. (for Ireland anyway:pac:)

Yeah, there's a reason skiing didn't become popular until there was transport up the hill. The odd time there was heavy enough snow to ski, I hauled out my kit and discovered that climbing even a gentle hill in ski boots while carrying your skis is too much work for the small amount of skiing you get.

I've been up to kilternan and skied down the golf course - deadly fun!

I have exams this week so couldn't head up if there was snow that low at least the fact I'm heading to Les Arcs on Saturday is some consolation :P

    Where there's a will there's a way.
Any covering in Ireland is going to be to deep to clear a track up a hill.

If there's anything more falling over the night, i'm gonna take my chanced tomorrow.

If in the unlikely event it does snow down this far I might look into sorting out a quad bike and taking turns doing runs. :D
