Hey, I'm half considering getting a Macbook in the near-future (we'll see, I probably won't, but I'd like to know this anyway)

The thing is I am leaving the country soon (heading for Australia) so i'm selling my current laptop, and have backed up all my stuff that I want onto either blank DVDs or USB drives (it's just some music and documents and such). It's nothing vital or anything (all those stuff are on my parent's PC at home) but I was wondering would there be any problem getting the stuff onto a Mac?

I've never used a Mac, so i don't know, but I presume there wouldn't be any conflicts between formats and such, and i'd just need to pop the DVD/USB drive into the laptop and away with it?

yeah you shouldn't have any problems if it's only mp3's, pics, etc Almost all files types will work on both PC's and Macs, just pop the dvd in and copy away.
