Howdy all, got my new bass amp delivered today, peavey tour 700w head from gak and a pair of the cheapsy cheap rockson cabs from musicstore. Now, before you trot out the old "you get what you pay for" thing, i know! Basically, the tweeter on the 4x10 cab was broken off the plastic horn, the two were only bonded together (obviously not very well). has anybody tried returning damaged parts back to musicstore? any hassles with them? cheers for the help!

Aahhh bummer. Sorry to hear it. Never dealt with them myself unfortunately.

Ah well, lesson learned. The tweeter is now bonded and screwed into position, I couldnt be doing with the hassle of sending the yolk back to germany and waiting for a new one, plus there's having to pay carriage. For the bucks spent on this, i'll take my chances in the high volume rattle stakes

So does this mean you finally plugged in the Sandberg? How does it sound? ;)

Sounds amazing, helped out my old band recently, did a wedding with them, so i even got to play it through my old abm stack. i'd go back to the ashdown in the morning if i had the choice!
