I will be travelling, both long and short haul flights, for a month.

This site has quickly accessible information on hand luggagehttp://www.luggagedirect.com.au/catalog/travel_tips.php

I have stocked up with the usual inflateable cushions, lightweight reading material and warm woolly coat which doubles as a blanket.

Any further tips would be really welcome, please.

Use the business lounge where you can, even if it means you have to pay for it. Great for relaxing between long haul flights - I've even used them to shower/change clothes. Google the airports you're using
to see what lounges and facilities are available.

Mini toothbrush and toothpaste-nothing like washing the teeth to help freshen up during/after flight!
Change of underwear or light clothes pieces in case bags get lost or delayed.
