Hey, this may be a silly question so i apologise in advance for it! :o
Before Christmas i sent in a form to claim back tax credits while unemployed and had to send the rest of my P45 in with, which obviously they didnt return. Now im wondering what happens when i get a new job and they need my P45?? Do they just call up revenue office themselves or what happens there??

So you left a job in 2008- and wil be starting a new job in 2009??

Your P45 would not have been valid anyway as its just details for the current year.

When you start new job, get their details and call the tax office yourself. They will send out cert of tax credits to your new employer within a week or so.
