I recently got a projector with a D-Scart connection on the back of it. I've looked everywhere for info on what I can plug into this but have found very little. Is anybody familiar with this type of connector?

Just remember that cable will carry picture but no audio so youll have to look after that with a seperate cable.
As moe said.. What are you trying to connect to the screen? And where did you get the screen? Make and model will enable us to help more.

as its a projector i assumed the audio was going to be done separately, but yes that cable will only do picture.

Its an epson emp tw980 projector. I was hoping to connect a scart cable to it via an optional adapter (according to the manual) but that adapter doesn't seem to exist anywhere!!

According to this website it has tons of other video inputs??

Can you stick up a pic of the connections panel?

What device are you trying to connect by Scart ? If it only has a SCART output, then use a SCART adaptor at the device - looks like this http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=13372 and use an S-Video cable or a Composite video and stereo audio cable, routing the red and white RCA audio cables to your av receiver for the sound and the S-Video or Composite video (yellow RCA cable) to the projector for the video.

This is an example of the RCA or "phono" cable:

This is an example of an s-video lead:

    Check Maplins online, here:

I'm using all the other inputs and they're working fine, but I have a bunch of consoles that output RGB via scart and it always looks way better than just using the composite video signal, so thats why I'm still hoping to get this connection up and running!
