I agree, Bono is a bit of a tool but he is a fantastic showman. Those 2 songs they played are among the best in their catalogue. I think thats a great clip.

    As Bono said:

Addressing Mr Obama, Bono said: “It’s not just an American dream: it’s an Irish dream, a European dream, an African dream, an Israeli dream, an Irish dream. What a thrill for four Irish boys from the northside of Dublin to honour you, sir.”

4 lads from the northside - is this a new indie rock band on the scene, surely not the multi-million U2 outfit? Bono is a top class tool.

The country in dire need of tax revenue and here is McGuinness and the U2 boys flying the Irish flag without paying Irish taxes these guys are no better than the eastern Europeans claming child benefit here but resident back home. I presume they are not getting Irish children’s allowance anymore?

We can only hope file sharing networks do the damage on their revenue generation from their new album, hit them where it hurts, in their pocket!

Bono & U2 are Ireland’s No 1 Hypocrites, preaching 3rd world debt relief etc and not prepared to pay their share in Ireland when Charlie Haughey’s tax relief scheme was changed for artists, no longer giving them tax free status.

Do as I say not as I do…

Of course they get an easy ride off mainstream Irish media.

Yes he likes to associate himself with all the wrongdoing in the world yet this man dosent pay taxes and 99 percent of the time he preaches total bs to people about how where not caring enough.

Im fom the south inner city not too far from where bono has his studio windmill lane

this area is still this faced with great poverty among the local population

regarding this the iron bridge section of this community has experinced high rise property devlopments in the last 10 years which bono has been a main supporter of.

Yet he has not once cared for the thousands of people that lost there homes to make way for luxay apartments and property increase in the area forcing people to move out or to the more pooer areas of pearse st such as pearse house leo fitzgerald etc.

id love of the rest of the world new that about him.

Bono and all the greedy devlopers this man is no voice of the poor hes a smug preppy boy whos living in a bubble
