    hi everyone,

    our self build is coming along very well thankfully. Roof is finished, insulating nearly finished. windows and doors in and outside plastering nearly finished. electrician has started fri so my question is for all those experienced people who've done this before- our moving in date is supposedly end march, would this sound about right?? reason i'm worrying now is i have given landlord notice for this date so i'm hoping it will be about there..

    Sounds reasonable providing you keep the tradesmen on their toes :)

    I'd agree its sounds reasonable.

    Make sure your Electrician, Plumber and 2nd fix Carpenter are programmed in and have all materials ready to deliver as required.

    Make sure you have finalised your decisions on doors, bathroom fittings, paint colours,finishes etc.

    Make sure ESB are lined up to connect metre as soon as Electrian produces his Cert. Might be worth booking provisional dates with ESB etc - they have a long waiting list.

    Ensure sewerage system is ready or will be installed soon.

    thanks for the replies, we have more or less everything on the way, i'm sure everything will fall together now.. might just buy that tent in case :L
