Has anyone seen or bought the new apple 24" led display? Are they any good? Tempted to get one for photo editing. I'm currently using a sony 20" CRT but it takes up half the desk

Yeah i have the led screen along with the unibody macbook pro. Its a brilliant setup. The convenience of just plugging and charging from the screen is especially good. You can leave your power adapter in the bag ready for the next day. It really helps to reduce clutter and wires on your desk as well. The picture quality is just stunning. I've watched a couple of movies on it so far and it really is a great experience. I use a wireless apple keyboard and the wireless mighty mouse also. That means even less wires to contend with. All in all, i really would recommend it. Yes there are cheaper 24 inch screens but none with the simplicity of charging direct and the panel quality this screen has. I think i read somewhere that it is the cheapest led screen on the market. If you are buying make sure to buy in the north cause it will save you a few euros.

    Sounds good.
Might take a trip up to Belfast soon, i want to get a wireless keyboard and a copy of iWork '09 as well as a screen.
Already have a logitech bluetooth mouse (didn't like the mighty mouse when I tried it). The fewer cables the better!
