That's what I'm thinking of doing too. Probably starting in Amsterdam and heading towards eastern Europe (cheapest places!), and hoping to finish up in Greece and do a bit of island hopping before flying home.

Enough to support yourself for a month, depends on what your general daily expenses are. Im looking at about 50 quid a day or maybe a bit more.

We are starting our way from Malaga, Spain, up to France, Italy, Switzerland, Belgium, Holland then back into Germany and make our way down into a bit of eastern Europe.

if its cheap you want eatern europe is the place to go.

Its not that difficult to survive on 50 a day especially if your prepared to cook your own food. take night trains also can help with expenses as its no outlay on a haostel for the night and a day aint wasted.

Don't expect eastern europe to be that cheap though, its not. and I would advise you not to take night trains, as there is a huge amount of theft in them (I've experiened it). I think its worth paying the 15euro for a bed in a hostel as a bed on a train costs like 10euro anyway and theyre so small that its hard to sleep. And plus, cause you tend not to be able to sleep that much, your so tired the next day that we ended up sleeping the next day - wasting a day
