Guarder Foregrip Integrated Rail for M16A2 /M4A1/M733

Couple of days back I had posted a thread asking how would I be able to fit a grenade launcher on my G&G M16R2 ABS Carbine(No! I won't call it plastica). DOC answered the call and told me about single rail kits available for AEG's which had a plastic fore grip.

After extensively searching the web for 15 minutes. I came across this http://www.fire-support.co.uk/store/comersus_viewItem.asp?idProduct=1258, two mountable rails for 25 Pounds and another 5 Pounds for the delivery. Ordered it straightaway and have spent a couple of days testing it's strength out.

The rail kit came with screws, etc. which can be attached to the holes. The fit isn't perfect though, There are 5 holes on each rail but the kit comes with only 9 screws. The placement can be adjusted. I was only able to get 3 screws on each rail.

I tested out the strength of the rails+fore grip by attaching a MP5K(because I didn't have a 203 launcher and please don't ask me how I attached it) to the bottom rail and left it suspended for 3 hours. After the 3 hours I came back to find that the grip had held but my AEG looked ridiculous with the MP5, guess only Arnie can pull off attaching another gun to the fore grip. So, It will definitely hold with a grenade launcher attached.

The rails are at a slanted angle so that the grip levels straight after attaching the rail. Overall, a very good purchase. Below are some pics(bad quality).

Thanks for tolerating my first review.

The mp5k in question now belongs to Dread-Lock. Rail mounts are amazing things. I originally wanted to attach my M3 shotty like Arnie but couldn't find any rail mounts for it.

Sharad we have to meet up at a site sometime and do that again. It sounds so ridiculous it would have to be awesome :D:D:D.

I will try to explain how I attached it. Pay attention(this is why I had said 'don't ask me how I did it'). You will need the following

    • 20mm rail kit for the mp5
    • 4 scope ring mounts(took from my M14)
    • 1 tasco style scope(took from my M14)
    1. mounted a rail on top of the mp5
    2. Attached ring mounts on the scope - 2 of them wide which were attached to the M16 bottom rail and two scope mounts in the opposite direction attached closely which went on that 200mm mp5 mount rail.

The end result was an M4 with a 3x scope mounted under the bottom role which had a MP5k attached underneath.

Richie I hope you read this, then go and do the same(please take some pics as well).

After accomplishing this task I thought that I had joined the ranks of Dex and Richie in guccisoft but then I realised that the appropriate term was ridicsoft.

I'm selling that idea to America :p.
That is pure brilliance my friend. I never asked how you did it...As you said not to, but thank you for explaining it :D.
