    I'm just after watching ep11 again and the cylon head they uncover at the dig site reminded me of something. Its the concept centurian from the ill fated Battlestar Galactica remake series from 2001.

    I had a feeeling those heads were from some previous version of BSG. I never saw that 2001 series,could anyone give a brief synopsis of what happened? Did it take place on 'Earth' ?

    It was never filmed as far as i know. I think there might be a trailer for it somewhere.

    It never got off the ground. For the most part there is just a lot of preproduction conept materials. Some of the elements of it were adopted for the 2003 miniseries. I think Galactica's CIC was one such influence.
