Depends on what you wear them with/ where you are going.. all that stuff.. generally, for sports? Yes. for a night out? No.

has to be a piss take.

cantos? they are tracksuit bottoms, i.e. should only be worn lounging round the house or when you're doing sporting activities.

any other time you wear them outside the above two situations you're just being a massive twat.

I like them, but wouldn't wear them. not my style.

They're just tracksuit bottoms. They're ridiculously overpriced tracksuit bottoms.

I once had a friend go out with a guy who wore a tracksuit. She refused to see him again because of this. About two weeks later she went out with another guy who wore a canterbury tracksuit. She decided she had to see him again because of this.

    Wear jeans ffs.

I learn something new on boards everyday!

Looks like a perfectly nice tracksuit for everyday wear or going to college but not for going out.

It is hard to know what pepsicokeacola was asking.

I didn't have a clue what Cantos is (googled the word and came up with some poem:confused:)

Yeah, why not, just looks a bit stupid when loads of guys have them on at the same time in Dundrum or whatever.

Baggy sweats are nice too, for this kind of look, e.g. grey Nikes.

They're not worth the plastic bag the shop put them in, perfectly normal and plain tracksuit bottoms with a silly pricetag.

I suppose a lot of people wear them for everyday use, but I was never one for wearing tracksuits as such - as you can guess I was not really into playing sports either :)

Chill out a bit. They're just an item of clothing at the end of the day, I'm sure there are worse things out there! You don't like them, fair enough but obviously a lot of people do and labelling them 'massive twats' for wearing them outside of lounging around the house or when doing sporting activities is very unfair.

I mean, I hate Converse but I don't think everyone who wears them are massive twats. Just hippies.

but he asked my opinion on them, and i gave it.

I think it's stupid wearing any kind of tracksuit bottoms outside of exercising or lounging in the house and even at that i wouldn't find them that comfortable for lounging either.

converse are different, they aren't made for any activity in mind bar covering your feet, in my mind if people think it's acceptable to wear tracksuit bottoms "out with mates" then it should be acceptable for people to wear say cycling jerseys whilst "out with mates" but we all know that would just be pain ridiculous.

Thank you, I'm well aware of that fact.

And if you were aware of it you'd know that people are entitled to their opinions.

Why ask for peoples opinions if you can't handle someone's that differs from yours?

but i mean like why are jeans more acceptable than tracksuit bottoms?

jeans were originally made i think for work am i right?

It is up to each individual taste as to what they feel comfortable in wearing when they get home from work whether it is jeans or tracksuit - I rather wear jeans, you might prefer tracksuit - it isn't really a big issue in my opinion.

I don't really like the whole tracksuit bottoms wearing thing either but there's no need to get so worked up about it

I do wear them on a lazy day though :o

I wear cantos or what ever ya call them just like any other tracksuit bottoms all the time, then again i do alot of sports, and only wear jeans on a night out and only have 3 pairs. Its what you comfortable in that counts.
