Is it possible to find deleted emails?

Hi I think my boss deleted an email where he offered a bonus, its not in my deleted emails. Would it be still in the system?

Why do you think he deleted it?

Does he have access to your email?

Did he send the email?

Do you use Exchange server with Outlook?

because i remember getting it but it is nowhere to be found. Basically he is disputing the bonus now but I can't find the email. It was sent to my work email which he would have access to. I use outlook express, I don't know if its an exchange server???

If your email exchange is backed up then yes, but I have a feeling if the above is true that they won't be recovering anything since to delete the mail he would have needed help.
