    Guys,
Does anybody know anything about this company? I ordered stuff from them last Wed (8th Jan). First I was overcharged for shipping. I selected 5.08 Euros for 3-5 Day Standard Mail and when my payment was complete it said I had been charged for DHL 2 Day Express (20.92 Euros). It is now 9 days later and no sign of the package. I opened a dispute ticket through their website email (which can only be used through their site, does not work form regular email servers) initially when I had been charged the larger shipping amount. I've since opened a 2-3 more of these tickets, the most recent asking for a full refund. I got an automated response straight away when I sent the first ticket and have have had no correspondance from them since. Anybody know anything about them?

Haven't ever heard of them but some things on the site look dodgy... first and foremost, there is no physical address posted anywhere, just a P.O box - never a good sign. The checkout link does seem to be a valid https link, but certain things like formatting, the images of credit cards/Verisign logos look very iffy and there are typos all over the place (e.g "Easy Returnss").

Hopefully it's legit and I hope you get sorted, but if I were you, I'd keep an eye on your credit card for any weird transactions... Best of luck with it.

The payment has gone through on the credit card but my bank said they have to give them 30 days to get the item delivered before they can make a refund.

I got a Cyclo DS Evolution from them around Easter Time, no problems whatsoever, if youre worried about how long its taking send them a ticket, it may have gotten lost by An Post when it arrived here.

EDIT: Sorry, see you sent multiple tickets, they take about 2-3 days to answer tickets, mark it urgent or whatever.

Ordered a Cyclo DS from them 2nd jan. Took 2 weeks for item to come to door... Only got it yesterday.

I paid through paypal just in case. Turns out they were ok... id say just keep on to them and you will get your items

I've used them about a half a dozen times and gotten deliveries within 3 days each time. I've no hesitation using them again.

It's a Cyclo DS I ordered too. Ok, guess I'll just have to be patient for a while. Though still not impressed with the overcharging/delivery times/(lack of) customer service! Thanks for the help guys! :)

Yeah I've dealed with them about 4 times and i've found them great every time! People mention a dodgy looking website but I'd say that has a lot to do with the fact that they completely revamped the site a few months ago. I think you just got a bit unlucky!

As with all of these type of sites (ConsoleUp, Gameyeeeah, DealExtreme, VolumeRate) things are usually fine until you have a problem.

In my experience they all work on a ticket system, which means it can take weeks to get even minor issues sorted out.

    Keep pestering them.

Ordered an R4 card from them a year or so back, took nearly two months. Its tough when you dont get a response, but it did arrive, wont use them again.

I placed an order with them around the 12th of December for a few items. I raised a ticket on the 11th of January and got an automated response. I've tried getting an update twice since but have heard nothing. My last message mentioned that if I didn't hear them I would be contacting my cc company to cancel the order, still nothing. Oh yes they charged my cc straight away without having all the goods in stock. So this Thursday if I haven't heard anything I will be getting onto the cc company to cancel it. I don't recommend them to anyone. Also check out this thread, other people have had similar problems:

All these guys have been closed for the last week or so.

With Chinese New Year, I wouldn't expect a reply until next week.

I have three disputes ongoing with a different company and haven't heard a thing in a week and a half.

So I've an update. DHL Cork contacted me today to say they have my order in the depot. DHL e-mailed me with a tracking number and I went online to see that an attempted delivery had been made to my house about three days after I ordered.
So in conclusion, Console Up did deliver when they said they would BUT, and it's a BIG BUT, their level of customer service is absolutely awful. I have yet to get a reply from the company themselves to any of my queries and to not provide someone with a tracking number for an item is just plain stupid! They could have saved themselves a LOT of abuse from me! :D

Poor form on DHL's part too, considering their charges, if they attempted delivery once, then left it lying in their depot for weeks.

I asked the guy in DHL who contacted me why they had taken so long in contacting me after the first (and only) attempted delivery:

"Trevor I’m based in the Cork Airport depot and the delivery depot that covers your address area is a different depot. All the shipments that cant get delivered for one reason or another are brought to this depot after some . It was only today that I got a chance to lok at the latest ‘batch’ of undeliverable shipments. Thanks and best regards Martin"

    Worthy excuse?????
