Slippery Heels?

I bought a new pair of heels, not particularly high,(or nice enough to post a pic) just about an inch high and the shoes were cheap (€15) but i dont have that much money to spend atm. i'm going out to a special event on Saturday and will be wearing tights (even though the heels are open toed and kind of sandals if you know what i mean) but anyways, my problem is that my feet slip around with the tights on (-doesnt happen in bare feet) Are those "party Feet" things made for this purpose? And also the shoes don't have that much grip on the ground especially the heel part (dangerous!)

So does anyone have any trick on how to make my feet stay in the shoe and keep the shoe on the ground? Need to know asap becuase event is on Saturday!
    Thanks!

Hairspray on the soles of your feet/tights and in the shoe itself will keep your feet in the shoes.

As for the slippery heel you could have a cobbler rubber heel them or rough the heel up with a bit of sandpaper to give them a bit more grip.

Party feet are for preventing sore feet and won't help at all.

Roughing up the bottom of the heels a bit with sandpaper will make them grip better and hairspray works wonders too! I always end up hairspraying new shoes.

As for keeping your feet in the shoes... Scholl and Compeed now have a whole range of those gel shoe things. There is one type that you can stick to the inside of the heel at the back of your ankle and they're meant to help the back of the shoes stay put. They might be of some use to you! You can get them in boots or tesco or any chemist basically. :)

Would hairspray not make the shoes a bit.. greasy? like when you feet sweat(not a problem i'd usually have though)

Must go look for some sandpaper..

    thanks!!

Hair spray makes your hair stick together so why not your feet?!
