    Hi,
Has anyone used elastilon for solid timber floor. Seen it today for the first time and the concept seems the way to go, a bit pricey but looks to be a lifetime job. Looking for feedback.

    Hi Pete6296
Have seen it used mid summer on floor with UFH. Kept an eye on product to see how it reacted. Excellent product pricy but worth it. Client very happy with results.Takes a while to know how to handle it,as you peel the backing paper you install the boards, you have to be accurate as base is sticky( strong). Board installation brilliant leaves movement in boards for expansion/contraction - no nails - no glueing of joints.Agree the way to go.

used Chimvers aka "Fast 98" glued directly to floor no problems whatsoever

make sure the floor passes the moisture test first though before using it
