There's no shortcut to cheap airline fares that I'm aware of anyway, you just have to do your own price checks and compare different routes etc. There's a few sites like ebookers and gohop that'll search them all at once but I always find they add a few quid for the privilege.

So do "flexible date search" or "search by price" on Delta, Continental, AA, US Airways, United Airlines, Virgin, Aer Lingus etc and don't be afraid of a possible London connection. The less flexible you are the more you will pay.

I got very reasonable flights for Dublin-Atlanta-Key West (return) in March. Only cost 350 euro which is quite unbelievable.

    I booked with Club Travel
    www.clubtravel.ie
    www.goforless.ie

Might be worth checking this website to see if you can get any deals.

    My flights are with Delta.

How much were the flights ?

June is close to the height of the season for a place like Florida

Do you have to fly from Shannon? I normally do, but it worked out much cheaper to fly from Dublin this time. I am flying Dublin-London-Orlando with BA in August, I got those flights for €1000 (2 adults) on www.expedia.com you could also try www.cheaptickets.com. Those BA flights were €500 cheaper than booking directly with the airline. There also quite good prices from Belfast it that was feasable. Also saw some really good fares with United Airlines (after I booked unfortunately) I think they only fly from Dublin. The best price I could get from Shannon was €1600 and that was with US Airways.

What prices are you getting? Agree with previous posters that July is peak season to Orlando. If you don't mind the risk, I remember last year Air Lingus cut their prices in their summer sale (I think the prices came out in about May). It's always a risk leaving it late though, you may actually end up spending more.

Hi thanks for the replys the prices where in the 1000 region, last year same time got them for 450 a flight theres 12 to 15 going this year and I was reading on some airline sites, if more than 9 are going then phone for there best price. Would you think they would give a good deal due to the amount going.

Have you tried one of the travel agents that specialise in the US such as Tour America or American Holidays. In my experience they seem to have flights available that individuals can't book directly themselves, I presume the airlines let them block book seats and hold them until close to flight time.
