    According to today's Echo, UCC faces a budget shortfall of 17million euro this year.

    I think it's time to accept that fees are on the way back.
    Less plasma screens to watch Home and Away, more studying.

    I am always impressed by the calibre of US students visiting at UCC, and by how seriously they take their studies.
    Many Irish students, in contrast, are frequently turned off a lecturer when he or she uses any four-syllable word. Still, thank God for the common room! Home and Away is easy at least.

    and I just noticed the roof of the north wing is a bit lifted with the wind.
    I bet they find the cash to fix that.
