Wake me up when you have pics of the new Mesa/Boogies (Mark V and Electra). I have spec sheets and prices, but no pics yet :(

Nothing thus far from Mesa/Boogie - Seymour Duncan release 3 pedals, four pickups.

    This looks nice

Radial Engineering Ltd. announces the release of the Radial H-Amp™, a unique passive interface that lets you take any speaker signal and convert it to a headphone source.

Designed for live stages, the Radial H-amp is the perfect interface to allow a drummer to get a monitor feed from any loudspeaker! Using the 'through' connection from a wedge monitor or side fill, the H-Amp is equipped with a Neutrik Speakon connector input and converts the high level speaker signal to a mono feed for headphones. It features a variable level control, high pass filter to remove excess low-end, a variable tone control to smooth out the highs plus a selector switch to enable various headphone types with wide ranging impedance and in-ear monitors to be connected. A second Speakon provides a throughput to feed a second H-Amp opening the door for applications such as in the studio or on concert stages where multiple members of the orchestra may need a headphone feed.

The Radial H-Amp is 100% passive. Because it only taps a small portion of the signal, it will not affect the amplifier's impedance or load making it easy to use without any system reconfiguration. All you do is plug and play! It also works great with a power amplifier.

The brand new Multi-Source combines the popular Wave-Length pickup system with an unobtrusive yet highly-efficient condenser microphone for versatility, flexibility and, of course, the most natural sound possible from your acoustic guitar.

The Multi-Source starts with the Wave-Length under-saddle pickup system that uses an 18-volt, low-noise, high-input impedance preamp with twice the dynamic range of typical 9-volt systems. The 18-volt preamp is powered by two “AA” batteries. With 18 volts, your signal has more headroom so hard strumming or plucking won’t distort into piezo “quack” as easily.

With the addition of the sound hole-mounted microphone, you can amplify your acoustic guitar with startling clarity and accuracy. The mic is nestled in a special polymer shock mount for optimal isolation and tonal enhancement. The two discreet knobs allow for volume and microphone blend. Dial the microphone in to add just the right amount of “air”; dial it out to control feedback, if necessary. Speaking of feedback, D-TAR contoured the response of the mic preamp for maximum feedback reduction.

The D-TAR Multi-Source comes in two versions: one for steel string and one for nylon string guitars and includes detailed installation instructions. The instructions include a wiring option for stereo operation that allows an off board preamp like the D-TAR Solstice to split the pickup and microphone signals to two separate channels for the ultimate in tonal control.

Also Ampeg have a new 'cute' amp - about $250 street

    ampeg-microvr-459x345.jpg

Ampeg introduces a miniature solid-state version of the legendary SVT amplifier, known as the Micro-VR Head in a size ideally suited for smaller venues and recording studios, where the original SVT rig would be both too large and too loud.

Donning classic Ampeg looks—including the silver face, black tolex, chrome corners and silver-blue grille cloth—the Micro-VR Head is no mere plaything. Despite its diminutive size (5.5″ H x 12″ W x 10″ D), the head boasts a true Ampeg preamp, delivering up to 200 watts of pure Ampeg tone.

As a companion, Ampeg also introduces the SVT-210AV ($299.99 MSRP) loudspeaker enclosure, the portable alternative to a full-sized SVT cabinet. Featuring the classic Ampeg style and sound, the SVT-210AV houses two 10-inch Eminence speakers in a compact sealed cabinet that is only two feet tall. Weighing in at approximately 30 pounds, the new cabinet is a decidedly more portable than its refrigerator-sized, 165-pound big brother, the SVT-810AV.

and a very nice looking delay
    http://www.gearwire.com/digitech-timebender.html

"The dual footswitch unit offers ten different delay types -- from standards like digital, analog and tape to a range of ducking delays to special delays like reverse and time warp.

Other features to watch out for include full-time tone control, modulation, multiplier, tap tempo and repeat ping-pong patterns on all delay types. What's really juicy about this machine is that it allows you to set up to six taps quickly and easily by strumming the guitar for repeat patterns that are rhythmically unevenly spaced.

I see a serious amount of mini switches, knobs and sliders. Thats either a tone tweakers dream or nightmare depending on which way you look at it! Are you thinking of going for one Voodoo?

Nah, not brand new, it'll cost a fortune over here :( :pac:

    Looks awesome though.

For those who don't want all the knobs/switches, Mesa have gone back to basics, the 1-channel Electra-Dyne:

Mark V is $1999 for the head. That's $100 more than the Mark IV, so if you want to guess the European prices you could do it easily enough.

Vox NightTrain, and some other Vox amps.
    VOXNightTrain.jpg
And the Vox Big Bad Wah (Satriani)
    Bid_Bad_wah.jpg
Theres always some cynicism towards signature products, but Vox already know how to make a good wah so that should be pretty good.

Ridiculous price for sure. Aimed at collectors rather than players, which is a real shame, same crap Ibanez is always pulling. Only 50 being made.

A lot of people seem to be interested in it though so hopefully the powers that be will cop on and release an appropriately priced model.
