My niece is making her confirmation this year and I have been roped into going shopping with her.

I need some advice on where to get confirmation wear.

She is tall and overweight for her age, any suggestions??

she lives in north co dublin.

I used to work in the consession in Clerys of Bay and we used to sell loads for confirmation wear.
Most girls of this age want "fashion" so shops like Bay, New look, A-wear, Topshop & River Island are popular.
Bay, New Look & A-wear are best for the age group though as they tend to offer fashion trends but not too "edgy".
Good options for this age are dresses with leggings and little ballet pumps.
I wouldn't worry about the height or weight- she will fit in ladies sizes which will open options for her.
You mention North Co Dublin- Try Omni in Santry- they have a big New Look & a Bay- not sure about an A-wear.
Ask the girls in the shops for help as most will be able to put something together that will be suitable & that your niece will want to wear.
