4 ball or 3 Cushion

I've seen 3 cushion on TV a couple of times and it looks fiendishly difficult, but also fairly boring. One of the great joys of snooker and pool is thwacking a long one firmly into the pocket.

I played fourball before actually in wales I think. I was told it was just billiards. It can be great fun pulling off shots when balls are all over the table but I think i'd stick to the snooker. :D

Yeah, eurosport and the like used to show a bit of 3-Cussion, so much skill involved.

I think it's amazing the players on that aren't well known in more lucritive snooker or pool circles.

Funny enough I play 3 cushion and 4 ball here a lot and I usually get destroyed, the guys are unbeliveable. But give them an 8 ball table and even relatively simple shots can go arseways on them. I don't understand it.
