    hey there,

just finished an astonoshing few weeks of work and from tomorrow im gonna be healthy again!

went over the top for months with drinking and crap food etc.

no matter how much or little i sleep, im always knackered waking up and can't get out of bed, i set my alarm for an hour before work, and i find im still in bed 20 mins before, and end up getting into work and have to start at whatever time without even a cup of tea.

when i finish then im always tired and can't be arsed doing anything.

anyone know what this is down to?

i resume fitness and dietery issues are the problem?
im fairly thin but do have a bit of a tummy and have fairly skinny arms and legs, i'd say i have a high enough body fat %.

im going out tomorrow to start making some changes and would like some advice.

    Thanks.

Get a course of ginseng and start getting plenty of fresh air into your lungs. Taking into account you have no underlying medical conditions and I would imagine changing your diet will also help.

oceansize, you posted this at 3.35 in the morning, I'm sure you are tired today:)

You need to post a typical day's eating here, be honest ;)
Post the times you are eating your meals at.
Post your age, height and weight.
If you are taking in far too few calories then you are going to be tired all the time.

Sleep consistency and quality are also very important.

I find that if I get 6 hours sleep one night, 4 the next night & 8 the next night, I'm all over the place, If I get 7 hours a night every night, I feel better.

Sleep quality is vital. If you are highly stressed or worried then your sleep may be severely disrupted without you even realising it.

Try and improve the quality of your sleep. Set aside some time early in the evening to think about the things that are on your mind, write them down. Then have dinner, watch TV (or better yet, do some exercise) etc. Getting some fresh air and exercise, even a brisk walk) can help.

Try to get to bed at the same time every night, or at least 5 nights a week. For 30 minutes before bedtime turn off the TV and either read a book or just relax to some soothing radio, not the Metal show or some god-awful lowest common denominator phone-in show. Try meditation.

That's a starter but until you give people more information they can't really add much more to help.

I had a fairly heavy christmas,i'm relatively fit but I'm tired all the time too, i bought some vivioptal from the pharmacy, just a vitamin tablet a day, i've taken it in the past and its been really good in helping my energy levels, takes a couple of weeks to notice but it helped me

"One hour's sleep before midnight is worth more than two after"

What time do you go to bed?
