    When going on rent supplement you have to make a minimun contribution towards the rent can you make more than the minimun contribution?

    Do you mean the landlord is charging more rent than the local HSE maximum?
    The CWO will insist that the rent you pay is at or below that maximum & ensure you have a basic amount to live on (204-18 = 186pw)

    I am only now looking for a place, do the HSE have a list of landlords who accept rent allowance. Rent allowance in Kildare is I think €468 per month and it is not possible to find a place for that amount
