Yeah, a friend of my mother's used to do adult ed classes in Mónín na gCiseach school in the evenings. I'm not sure if she does anymore as she's quite elderly. Check out the Advertiser. She gave me a crash-course just before Christmas and I took it off the internet and from books from there. It's actually not too challenging once you know the basics of how to hold the thread and needle etc.

    Hi,

A friend of a friend mentioned something about starting a crochet class in Galway, I'm hoping to find out more about it today or next week. Takes a bit longer getting these things on the grapevine! I'll let you know if anything comes of it. I'm completely new to crochet as well but hoping to learn, so hopefully this will come to something! Will keep you posted anyway :)

    Hi again,

I just heard that there's going to be a crochet session in the westwood hotel at 7 this evening (monday). Apologies if this is too late, but hopefully you get to make it there.
