eh what? It appears to be a legitimate case based on the report.
He suffered a chemical burn to the eye from shower gel.
If you ask me, that shouldn't happen from shower gel.

what I dont like is a story which might be in tomorrows papers ...... a guy suing 'cos he was in hospital and broke his leg getting out of a wheelchair.... his case is essentially that he was never told how to get out of a wheelchair or never told to stay in the wheelchair.

might point out he was in hospital for an operation and put in a wheelchair to goto different areas of hospital for scans etc...faster than walking (he's 65)

Sounds more like a fair claim than a frivilous one, tbh. If your shower gel is causing chemical burn, there's something wrong with the shower gel. I'm also assuming that there was a medical record from the hospital submitted in evidence.

Don't see a comparison between this and the wheelchair story...?

By rubbing his eye after the gel irritated it , and made it a hell of a lot worse, I've managed to do it:o. I didn't run off to sue anyone though.:rolleyes:

Scratched my cornea resulting in a chemical burn from rubbing the eye afterwards.;) Sore for about 6 months afterwards.

I think its great. No More tears proved shower products dont have to burn the hell out of your eyes when they get there, like just about everything else. It'd be nice to see all products get to that stage.

ah yes, but the problem with no more tears, is that the formula is suited to the PH of your eyes, and not your skin, which means its not particularly good for your skin (apparently!)
