    Hi
Our Sky pictures are breaking up as if loosing the signal - can anyone recommend an engineer who will come and check the dish alignment etc in the Naas area - would prefer to go on someone's recommendation rather than blindliy call people in the goldenpages...

    thanks
    Paul

You could try Tony in satellite.ie

I have not used them for an install (did it myself), but bought equipment from them and found them very helpful.

I have no idea of their rates/charges.

Sky are really expensive to sort out a small alignment problem. Think they charge €150 (Not 100% sure on this) call out charge for what ever the problem is. A small local private firm would possibly charge a much smaller rate as the job could be done in a few mins!!

I keep seeing Finlays vans for sky all over Naas and Newbridge. Have a look in goldenpages for them. Not 100% sure if they are the prefered sky installers in the area but they might at least quote you for a simple problem. If not there are independant installers in the sky shop in Whitewater SC in Newbridge.
