Just wondering what your thoughts were on these. Do you think they're cute. I think they're absolutely fab. Can anyone recommend where I'd get a nice pair?

Penneys had quite a good range recently. Personally, I love the more plain ones - not such a fan of the mad coloured ones unless I'm playing dress up.

I love over the knee's! I have loads! It's a pity they're so hard to get, and that knee highs are more common :(

Penney's is definitely the place to go!

As a gent, I too am in favour of these garments.
My girlfriend got a nice set in River Island. They'd little bows at the top!

I got plain black over the knees in penneys, best to keep it simple or you'll just look like an idiot. they have nice wooly ones in river island too

I've seen lovely different colours ones in Topshop but got some grey and black ones in Penneys that I love wearing, they've bows on the side of them and are so comfy. Love wearing them over tights with boots.

Depends on the state of your legs i would say.
They're cool, but ya dont want a bulge over the top of them. So if you have fat or muscly legs, i'd steer clear.

I'm a big fan of these. I've lots of pairs, picked up in a variety of shops - Penney's, Claire's, Next, Accesorize and shops in Temple Bar.

Apart from over tights how do you wear these, to what occasions do you deem the appropriate or inappropriate?what footwear?what age should you not wear them? i like them but feel i might be too old at (a young) just turning 25!!also cant see anyone struuting about in them with a mini and no other tights, during the day sure you'd freeze!:(

Well I'm going on 27 in a couple of months and I'll be wearing mine with a mini dress or skirt and high heel stiletos!! You should just wear them with whatever you feel comfortable yourself.

I'm in my 20's and love wearing them! And don't plan on stopping. As pampers1 said, wear them with whatever you're comfortable with :) Prob best to avoid the school girl look though, unless you're in the boudoir :p

Hi, you can get them in Arnott's accessories department.
    They do:

    • Aristoc in opaque brown and black
    • Wolford in red and purple (which i think are on sale- 30%)
    • Johnathan Aston in striped multi colours and a cream lace effect also
    • Pretty polly in soft flat pressed cotton (black)
I have the wolford and the aristoc and they're a really good look especially heading into spring/summer as this season was all about opaques but with our crappy weather over the knees are a good alternative to going bare! But yeah you can get away with them in your 20's but not much after imo! They look great with patent shoes, shirt dresses etc

Ask the sales staff there if you can't see what you're looking for as they're really good and know they're stuff.
