    hi,
got a new Sony one and tried to attach my omega portable hard drive onto which i've backed up all my photos and it tells me it doesn't recognise the media device  i connected it via usb cable but no go. i don't know the tech terminology for these things but is it that i might need a differnt cable or is it just not going to work? seems a nuisance to go back to copying all my photos onto another media device again.

    appreciate any advice, thanks

How big is the capacity on the frame?
Its likely not as high as your HD.

Pick the photos you want to use from the HD. Copy these to a PC. Then connect the frame to the pc and copy these to the frame (or the memory card in the frame)

What format is the HDD, if NTFS then there's your problem.
