my chances of getting some kind of benefit?

    ok my situation is this.

    i came back from travelling in october and have been unemployed since.i graduated from college in november.
    i havent worked in ireland since a part time job in 2005 and i dont seem to remember getting a p45.
    im 23 and live at home with my mam.my mam receives the pension and also works a few hours to help out in a clinic.she has a lot of savings and my dad left me a lot of money when he passed away.
    ive been looking for work since november but in general i havent heard much back.

    if im truthful i dont really need the dole bit if im entitled to it i may aswell, ill be paying tax for long enough and theres plenty of plenty of people getting it who dont need it either.

    is there any hope of me getting anything or will i be refused? thanks for any replies.
