    About time we had a thread on this topic, there are so many that need to be named and busted! I'll start with the ginger one;

    myth-if you keep shaving your hair with grow back darker.

    THIS IS A LIEEEEEEEEE!!!!!! This is not true. It doesn't work. I am the living breathing, two tone proof of that, and so are most lads. Live with it.

    Next?

    Not really a lie. My hair lightens from being in sun light. If I keep it trim it stays looking dark. So shaving will keep it darker

    Having lots of facial hair for a period of time, and then randomly shaving it off, can add ten years to your life!

    (well, thats not true, but you may get comments from people saying you look younger)

    Yup I agree, I could show you two pictures - one when I had face hair and then the next just after I'd shaved and you can see it... it's like your skin is softer or something. My girlfriend doesn't like me shaving cause she thinks it makes me look dead young.

    I look about 16 clean shaven and about 25 with some significant growth.

    Anyone ever see a priest with facial hair ? Our priest in secondary school had a big bristley manly goatee beard of a thing.
